The only Double Sovereign (2 pounds) from George III. Very rare with a mintage of 60. Only 6 graded and one in PR64UC. This example has deep mirrors and a few light hairlines commensurate with the grade. These were struck a few days prior to King George's death. For a data point on value, a matte-surface example (cleaned and brushed) sold recently at auction for nearly $60,000. A relatively problem-free example should be worth much more.
