Very Fine (9: 3,3,3). Rarity-5+ with the finest known only an XF-45. This die marriage always shows the detail void through the stars on the reverse. This is apparently due to Lady Liberty's breast being cut too deeply into the die. The metal couldn't fill the die. This example is original with a dark grey patina which gives way to light grey on the highest points. Very scarce and very tough in this grade or better.
