1974-D Kennedy Half. Brockage by 50C on 1C Planchet. ANACS MS62
An outstanding error and produced by a highly unlikely chain of events. A cent planchet was struck by the Kennedy Half dollar dies. This then landed on the planchet of the half dollar and was struck into it with the obverses side up. The result is what looks like a window into the reverse of the coin, as the eagle brockage is perfectly aligned with the reverse eagle! Truly a fantastic error.
