Extremely Fine (11: 3,4,4). An excellent example which is high on the condition Census tally. This is listed as #13 finest. It is thought that less than 100 examples exist in certified holders. This example has a light brown color and only a few trivial marks on the reverse. The die cud at 9:00 on the obverse is very visible as is the overdate feature. Because this variety is easily identified by the die cud, attribution is quite easy. In the Attribution Guide it is noted that this particular example came to light when Rick Snow (Author) cherrypicked it from eBay for $47. That cherry-pick was reported in Coin World shortly after it sold in 2012 for $14,500. The coin traded hands a few times afterward in the $14,500 to $17,500 range since 2012. Now it is available at a price that is very reasonable for this prized variety.
