Choice Unc (10: 3,3,4) RD. A super rare date in full red. Only two examples are graded full red in all grades! Both examples are graded MS64RD and are about equal quality. The 1872 Shallow N is now considered part of the regular set, since the reverse design change was long overlooked by collectors. No longer. As a regular date, only the 1871 Shallow N is rarer. This is an outstanding example with a good strike and very few marks. In the years to come this is going to emerge as a super rarity in the Indian cent series along with the 1871 Shallow N.
