1872 1C Shallow N Indian Cent PCGS MS64RB (PHOTO SEAL)
Choice Unc (11: 3,5,3) RB 95%. Very attractive with even coloration. The detail on the base of the portrait is slightly weak, likely due to a debris strike-through. As such there is little diamond detail and the lower hair curl is connected to the ribbon. The Shallow N reverse is the design abandoned in 1869. A few dies were left over and some are known for 1870, 1871 and 1872. All 1877's are from this reverse too. This is a very scarce date made even tougher by the Shallow N.
