Choice Unc (13: 4,4,5) BN. Snow-5. Full strike with hardly a mark. There are some scattered debris strike-though patches on the reverse, but these are mint-made and should not lower the grade, as I think they did here. The Shallow N 1871 is a very rare subset of this already scarce date. Taken on its own as a separate date, this would be a classic rarity in the series, with only about 50 known and probably only a few hundred in existence.
