1866 5C With Rays Shield Nickel FS-306/401 Clashed dies PCGS AU53 CAC
About Unc (9: 4,2,3) Very strong clashed dies visible mostly on the obverse where the inverted top of the "5" and some of the bars have made a big impression onto the obverse die. While the reverse shows a strong strike, the obverse die is too warped out of flatness to strike-up correctly. This is likely from the clash impact. Newly listed by PCGS at coin number 569418. Only two are presently graded.
