1865 1C Plain 5 Snow-1 Indian Cent PCGS MS64RD (PHOTO SEAL)
Choice Unc (14: 4,5,5) RD. FS-301. This is a very bold repunched date, once thought to be a Plain 5 / Fancy 5 and even earlier as a 1865/4. It is a great variety and one of the finest known. It is fully struck with great luster and a beautiful golden red color. There is a small spot on the U in UNITED and a slight scratch on the cheek, which accounts for the grade. The eye appeal is otherwise outstanding.
