1858 True Type of '59 1C Indian Cent J-208 Snow-PT-35 NGC PR64CAM (PHOTO SEAL)
Gem Proof (14: 4,5,5) The exact style of 1859. Only ten examples are known and one of the finest is in the American Numismatic Society collection. This example is the only cameo designated example. I have handled eight of the ten examples and most are dull and lifeless. This is a fabulous example with wonderful eye appeal and very few marks. There is a light tone on the reverse, but overall it is a screamer! Other examples in the PR63 grade range have sold for close to $10K.
