1858 1C Large Letters Low Leaves Flying Eagle Cent PCGS MS64 (PHOTO SEAL)
Choice Unc (12: 4,4,4) A scarce die combination with the Low leaves reverse introduced in mid-year. The existing Large Letters dies were still used side-by-side with the new Small Letter obverses. More collectors are including both type of reverses in their sets. Taken with the Small Letters, there are four design types for 1858. This example is well struck with very few marks. The requirement for having both reverse styles is similar to the requirement for having a 1878 Reverse of 78 and Reverse of 79 Morgan dollar.
