1858 1C Indian Cent J-208 (Die pair 3) PCGS MS62 (PHOTO SEAL & CAC)
Proof (12: 4,4,4). Old green-label holder from over 20 years ago. Similar to the adopted type in 1859, differing slightly as this has a broad bust point and laurel leaves in bunches of 5. The wreath is off-center. This is a fairly common pattern. However, this is the very rare die pair 3 (Attribution Guide page 148). It is identified by the clash marks on the reverse. Only three examples are traced. This example has good mirrors and very few marks.
