1856 1C Snow-3 Flying Eagle Cent PCGS PR63 (PHOTO SEAL)
Average Unc (13: 4,5,4) The original die pair. Part of the group struck in late 1856 and distributed to Congress. This example is from the die stage C, which is identified as having a repolished obverse die and a die scratch under the date. Although attributed as a proof, this is a Mint State striking (Snow-3). It has the look of a much higher grade but is held back by a small mark by the reverse rim at 9:00. This is a great opportunity to get a great example of the original 1856 Flying Eagle cent.
