1856 1C Snow-3 Flying Eagle Cent PCGS XF45 (PHOTO SEAL)
Choice Extremely Fine (11: 3,4,4) The original striking in a Mint State -designated holder. (PCGS #2013) This is a very attractive example with just a little light wear. The only mentionable defect is a small strike-through on the ST in STATES, but this is as-struck. Old green label holder from over 20 years ago. The Snow-3 is the die pair used for the original striking period in 1856. These are known to be a Mint State die pair, as opposed to a circulated proof. The holder is designated as a XF45 rather than a PR45.
