1855 1C Flying Eagle Cent J-168 NGC PR62BN
Proof (10: 2,3,5) BN. Bronze. The Medium-size Large cent with the Flying Eagle. Four leaves under the E. With a mintage of about 80 examples, this is a very scarce and desirable pattern cent. It is fully struck and has good mirrors. There is, however a large corrosion spot above the juncture of the two wings which makes what would otherwise be a high-end coin much lower on the grade spectrum. It is very affordable though, as these are typically priced over $5,000.
