1855 G$1 Indian Princess (Type II) Gold Dollar NGC MS62 (CAC)
The Small Indian Princess was only struck for a short time, encompassing three dates from the Philadelphia Mint. As such it is a scarce type. This example has thick frosty luster and is sharply struck. Lustrous with just a few light marks. Clash marks are evident on both dies. The fields at the 6:00 position on the obverse and 12:00 position on the reverse are slightly bulged (Concave on the die). Ex: Elizabeth Coggan 7/20; Don Kelley collection.
