This is an outstanding museum piece. It is a staff made of an iron pole with bronze wrapped intricately around, forming a face at the top. A nickel-iron wedge, possibly formed from a meterorite, is fixed into the top. For the technology of the period in coastal Nigeria, this is an amazing piece of art.
