20% RED. This is the popular and scarce Shallow N, reverse type of 1869. This example is fully struck with outstanding surfaces. This is one of the top 10 examples known. The 1871 Shallow N is a very tough date and if considered part of the basic set, it is by far the rarest date in the series.
